  • Deliver effective, comprehensive advocacy at the legislature, Governors’ office and regulatory agencies
  • Build and strengthen member relationships with elected officials to raise awareness and build trust in the regulated marijuana industry
  • Emphasize member expertise and credibility with lawmakers by directly connecting to the legislative process
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated local government lobbyists focused on improving the business climate and all local jurisdictions


  • Manage media cycle so that WACA policy priorities are emphasized in crowded debate
  • Provide public relations support to members in local communities while positioning the licensed industry statewide
  • Raise awareness of the WACA brand and the values it represents for safety, quality and regulation

Like most other industry trade associations, WACA bases our dues on gross annual revenues for each member. Dues are assessed at the beginning of each calendar year. If a member joins mid year, their dues are pro-rated. The levels are below. 

1 Revenue over $10 million annually $10,000
2 Revenue between $5 million and $9.9 million annually $7,000
3 Revenue between $1 and $4.9 million annually $5,000
4 Revenue between $800,000 and  $1 million annually $3,000
5 Revenue between $400,000 and $799,000 annually $2000
6 Revenue between $100,000 and $399,000 annually $1,000
7 Revenue under $99,000 annually $500
