Join fellow WACA members, LCB leadership and Washington State elected officials as professional representatives of Washington's licensed, regulated cannabis marketplace. A "D.C. fly-in" refers to a formal group visit to Washington, D.C., in an intensive one or multi-day program as advocates for a policy agenda with federal representatives.

You will be joining WACA Board members, staff and members, LCB Director Rick Garza, officials from Governor Inslee's office and allies in the State Legislature like Senator Rivers who have been invited to attend, schedule permitting.

Example one-day itinerary:
8am - 8:30am: Group orientation, travel time to the Hill
9am - Noon: 1-on-1 meetings on the hill with members or key staff from the Washington Delegation (special focus on Representative Kilmer who sits on the Commerce, Justice, Science subcommittee).
Noon - 1pm: Lunch on your own
1pm - 4pm: 1-on-1 meetings on the Hill with Tribal leadership from the Puyallup and/or Suquamish Tribes,
Senator Feinstein (CA), Senator Murkowski (AK), a policy person assigned to marijuana from the Department of Justice
5pm: Sponsored reception/netyworking 
7pm: WACA team dinner

This will include three days of meetings with key policy makers, regulators and stakeholders!!

The cost of the trip, not including airfare, will be $2500 per person.
This covers:
*       Four nights of accommodations at the Fairmont hotel (Monday, June 26 - Thursday, June 29)
*       Bus/van transfers to/from meetings on the Hill
*       Pre-arranged, coordinated meetings, preparation and materials
Meals and other expenses are on your own.

Registration deadline is May 15. All fees must be collected at the time of registration as we are paying for hotel, van service etc. 

Refunds will only be given until May 30. After that, no refunds will be allowed as we will have already paid for the trip.
